What we do differently

Three things. First, we concrete every new post in - proper C20 mix, augered post-hole, minimum 600mm depth. It costs a bit more and it's the difference between a fence that stands through the storms and a fence that leans over after the first big blow.

Second, we fit hot-dip galvanised or stainless A2 hardware on every gate, every latch, every hinge. Zinc-plated fittings are cheaper on the day and they rust to nothing in eighteen months on this coast. We've replaced enough of them to have stopped fitting them.

Third, we spec the fence to the plot. A West Cliff clifftop rear boundary gets three-rail closeboard on concrete posts. A sheltered Nethercourt back garden gets standard two-rail panel work. A St Lawrence cottage front garden gets painted picket. We don't sell the same fence to everyone.

The guarantee

A proper job or you pay nothing. If the finished fence is not what we described in the quote - post lean, panel gap, gate binding, anything - we come back and fix it. If we can't fix it, you don't pay. We can offer that because we don't cut corners on posts or hardware.

Ramsgate Fencing is a trading name of NordSys Limited (a UK-registered company). All quotes are provided as written estimates via WhatsApp or email. All completed jobs are documented with photos on completion, which we send to you and keep on file. VAT-registered where applicable.

Pricing philosophy

Fixed price after we've seen the run. No day-rate creep. No "while we're here" extras. The number we quote is the number you pay. If the ground turns out worse than expected or something goes wrong on our side, that's our problem to absorb, not yours to be surprised by.
